Yes, Goddess Locs are different from Faux Locs, sis! Faux locs is an umbrella term for so many different types of temporary loc styles but are also a style themselves. Goddess Locs, Boho Locs, Butterfly locs are all temporary locs styles with variations on how distressed the loc looks and/or the addition of loose curls and the ends. This is also a protective styles that looks better the older it gets. The crochet method is used for all faux loc styles to ensure low tension and preservation of edges. -Recommended wear time: 8-9 weeks. -Type of hair used varies.
