Should I wash my hair before my appointment?Freshly washed and blow-dryed hair is a must. Do not straighten your hair unless directed to. Braiding silky hair is not ideal. Tip #1: Detangle your hair BEFORE washing. Tip #2: Deep coniditioning is highly recommneded prior to installastion and after you remove your protective style.

Can I wash my braids?Please do! It is not recommended that you wash your hair as you normally would with styles such as cornrows and microbraids. However, you wiping your scalp with a wet cloth can remove some buildup.

How can I grow my hair?Drink more water and take your vitamins. Consuming a healthy diet in addition to taking vitamin supplements and increasing water intake is essential to strengthen hair and stimulate hair growth.

Should I trim my hair before or after braids?Blunt ends can be a real challenge to tuck in the braid if you trim before but what's the point of proecting dead ends? Trim a couple of weeks before your appointment so life is easier for everyone.

What is your travel fee?20 miles or more outside of Upper Marlboro, Maryland will incur an additional travel fee disclosed at your time of booking.
